RE: KAAPA Financial Statement for Year 2017
Dear KAAPA members,
We have prepared the KAAPA financial statement for the fiscal year 2017. Please see the report below. We have used cash-basis accounting because KAAPA has only cash as an asset and made simple transactions in 2017.
The report shows that 11 members paid the life-time membership fee and 22 members paid the annual membership fee in 2017. Therefore, there is a large room for additional contribution from existing members. Please see the list of paid members below.
The KAAPA annual membership fee is $20 for the 2018 fiscal year. Alternatively, the KAAPA life-time membership fee is $200. Those who already paid the life-time membership fee as well as PhD students do not have to pay again. The membership fee can be tax deductible in the US because KAAPA is a qualified nonprofit organization and provides no goods or services in exchange for your contribution.
For the 2018 membership fee, we accept credit cards and PayPal as a form of payment. You can simply click one of the following links to process the payment. You can use the receipt for tax deduction.
